| There are countless musical pieces in the world today. The melodies exist
may disperse in the universe, and may even exceed the number of the stars.
It is impossible to get to know each and every piece of music that exists.
I once thought recklessly that I wanted to know possibly all the music
in this world . I was always in quest of the music of superb. The time
of those days passed from such youth and the spirit of quest went away
somehow. Looking back in the past, surely there was such a time when the
talent was filling up the world and the artists who took pride in music
were shining ever bright. Now that music became a huge business and the
immaterial resources became under control of the capitalist fools that
are fascinated with wealth. However, I came to find one piece of jewel
in 2005. The rather obscure pianist MIKA's Lake Erie brought the light
in my music quest. The talent which is all I need and want. I can hear
it and feel it every time I play this album. |
 This CD was recorded in New York three years ago under the provisoin of the producer Mr. SEIRO who is also a great guitarist. Ever since Lake Erie was introduced to me, the joy of feeling love of music has been keeping warming my heart. Whenever I hear it, I get this amazing owe by her composition capability and the expression of the sound feeling the sense of reverence. An artist with a talent like this is so hard to find. And I got to know her personally and the delightful human being was easy to see too. I wish to pay the respect to the talent in this artist and express the feeling of gratitude. Luckily I had a helping hand from MIKA herself and here it is, MUSE OF OPUS, my dedication to the brilliant composer.
